Easy Microwaved Apple pie

    Apple pie is such a good dessert for thanksgiving! You would usually bake it in an oven, but a microwave? I first saw this on The Holderness Family Vlogs. I thought this was a great idea and I wanted to try it out so I could see if it really worked. It includes the normal ingredients of apple pie, but you bake it in a microwave! You can find the recipe here. I used 1 tablespoon of lemon juice instead of juice from half a lemon. 


Appearance- This pie isn't the prettiest thing in the world because of the floppy apples and gooey insides but I would say this isn't the worst looking pie ever. I would rate the appearance 4 of 5 stars.


Taste- I'm not the biggest fan of apple pie, but I would say this pie tastes really good! I have not had apple pie in a long time so I can't really compare this to an oven baked pie, but if I had to guess I would say this pie tastes manly the same- if not better than a oven baked pie! I would rate the taste 4 of 5 stars!


Difficulty- This recipe wasn't too hard. It only had 6 steps. I would rate this beginner!


Overall- overall I would rate this recipe 4 stars!

  Angel food cake is a fluffy sponge cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Unlike other cakes, it doesn’t use butter. The Baker’s Corner angel food cake box comes with 2 packets and all you have to do is add 1 ⅓ cup water. I dont have an angel food cake pan so I used a bundt cake pan.   Chocolate and strawberries are a classic pair. They just go together. This recipe is great for spring and summer because you can go and pick fresh strawberries. I made this recipe for mothers day but my whole family loved it. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- The appearance of this cake is amazing! The different layers as well as the reds and browns makes the cake look so appetizing. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars!  Taste- This cake is delicious! It's perfectly moist and flavorful. The frosting and the glaze add an extra touch. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars!  Difficulty- The recipe isn't that hard to follow and the steps aren't difficult to achieve. Simple Scones

       Scones are one of my favorites! They are a great breakfast food. I added butterscotch chips into mine and it made them taste very good. I read in the comments on the recipe that you should use a food processor instead of a mixing bowl so I tried that. It really didn’t work for me because my food processor was small. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- These scones remind me of slices of pizza. They are a tan color and the butterscotch chips add some variety. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  Taste- I think these taste really good! They do seem a bit dry and crumbly though. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. Difficulty- I think making the scones in a food processor was supposed to make it easier but for me it didn't.
