Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cake is an amazing dessert that is hard to mess up! It can be 1 layer, 2 layers, 3 layers, 4 layers, 5 layers, or more. I made a 2 layer cake and added rainbow sprinkles. The frosting recipe that is also included is not only perfect for the cake, but for anything else that needs chocolate frosting. This cake only took about 30-40 minutes to make. Appearance- The appearance of this cake is perfect! Although when I tried to get mine out of the pans, some of the cake stuck to the pan. At first it was easy to cover it with frosting, but then the frosting started to sink into the hole. I would rate the appearance 4 of 5 stars. 


Taste- This cake tasted so good! It was moist and flavorful. The chocolate frosting goes perfectly with the cake! I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars.


Difficulty- Like I said before, this cake is hard to mess up.It is very simple and the instructions are easy to read. I would rate the difficulty beginner. 


Overall- Overall I would rate this recipe 5 out of 5 stars!

  Angel food cake is a fluffy sponge cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Unlike other cakes, it doesn’t use butter. The Baker’s Corner angel food cake box comes with 2 packets and all you have to do is add 1 ⅓ cup water. I dont have an angel food cake pan so I used a bundt cake pan. After cutting a slice from the cake. I decorated it with whipped cream, blueberries, and strawberries for Memorial Day.   Chocolate and strawberries are a classic pair. They just go together. This recipe is great for spring and summer because you can go and pick fresh strawberries. Simple Scones

       Scones are one of my favorites! They are a great breakfast food. I added butterscotch chips into mine and it made them taste very good. I read in the comments on the recipe that you should use a food processor instead of a mixing bowl so I tried that. It really didn’t work for me because my food processor was small. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- These scones remind me of slices of pizza. They are a tan color and the butterscotch chips add some variety. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  Taste- I think these taste really good! They do seem a bit dry and crumbly though. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. Difficulty- I think making the scones in a food processor was supposed to make it easier but for me it didn't.
