2 cups all purpose flour
1 ¼ tsp baking powder
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1 tbsp orange extract
(optional) orange food dye or yellow and red
| Preheat oven to 350℉ and line a 12 cup and a 6 cup cupcake/muffin pan with cupcake/muffin liners. In a large mixing bowl beat sugar and butter with an electric mixer until pale and fluffy. Add the flour and baking powder and beat until combined. In a separate bowl beat eggs, vanilla, milk, vegetable oil, and orange extract until fully combined. DECORATIONS-
(optional) orange sprinkles and/or orange gummies

NOTES-
You may have to use a bit more orange extract than listed. Depending on how orange-y you would like the flavor. Also after you divide the batter between the 12 cup pan and the 6 cup pan you will have more batter leftover so you will have to use the 6 cup pan again.
This was great for your first original recipe!
