Raspberry Cream Pie

     August 1st is National Raspberry Cream Pie day so I decided to make a raspberry cream pie! This recipe has an Oreo crust to go with the raspberry filling. If you would like to make this pie yourself click here. 


Appearance- The pie is a light pink color with dark pink raspberry pieces. It goes well with the black-ish crust. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  


Taste- I would say this pie is not for people who like really sweet desserts. It has a slight tang to it but is still really good. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. 


Difficulty- This was super easy to make and had easy-to-follow instructions. I would rate the difficulty beginner. 


Overall- Overall I would rate this recipe 5 out of 5 stars!

  Angel food cake is a fluffy sponge cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Unlike other cakes, it doesn’t use butter. The Baker’s Corner angel food cake box comes with 2 packets and all you have to do is add 1 ⅓ cup water. I dont have an angel food cake pan so I used a bundt cake pan. After cutting a slice from the cake. I decorated it with whipped cream, blueberries, and strawberries for Memorial Day.   Chocolate and strawberries are a classic pair. They just go together. This recipe is great for spring and summer because you can go and pick fresh strawberries. The different layers as well as the reds and browns makes the cake look so appetizing. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars!  Taste- This cake is delicious! It's perfectly moist and flavorful. Simple Scones

       Scones are one of my favorites! They are a great breakfast food. I added butterscotch chips into mine and it made them taste very good. I read in the comments on the recipe that you should use a food processor instead of a mixing bowl so I tried that. It really didn’t work for me because my food processor was small. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- These scones remind me of slices of pizza. They are a tan color and the butterscotch chips add some variety. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  Taste- I think these taste really good! They do seem a bit dry and crumbly though. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. Difficulty- I think making the scones in a food processor was supposed to make it easier but for me it didn't.
