Pumpkin Squares with Cream Cheese Frosting

     Fall has arrived. Pumpkins are very fall. So this recipe is perfect for fall! It's a great treat for the season. When I made these though, the frosting recipe made a lot and it's very sweet so you might want to not put all the frosting on the squares. Also, I didn’t have a jelly roll pan so I used a square cake pan. If you would like to try this recipe click here.


Appearance- These look very festive for fall! They are orange with white icing. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars!  


Taste- These taste amazing! The frosting is very sweet and the actual square tastes like pumpkin bread. I think together they are a great combo. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. 


Difficulty- This recipe was very simple to follow and easy to make.I would rate the difficulty beginner.

  Angel food cake is a fluffy sponge cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Unlike other cakes, it doesn’t use butter. The Baker’s Corner angel food cake box comes with 2 packets and all you have to do is add 1 ⅓ cup water. I dont have an angel food cake pan so I used a bundt cake pan.   Chocolate and strawberries are a classic pair. They just go together. This recipe is great for spring and summer because you can go and pick fresh strawberries. Simple Scones

       Scones are one of my favorites! They are a great breakfast food. I added butterscotch chips into mine and it made them taste very good. I read in the comments on the recipe that you should use a food processor instead of a mixing bowl so I tried that. It really didn’t work for me because my food processor was small. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- These scones remind me of slices of pizza. They are a tan color and the butterscotch chips add some variety. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  Taste- I think these taste really good! They do seem a bit dry and crumbly though. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. Difficulty- I think making the scones in a food processor was supposed to make it easier but for me it didn't.
