  Cinnamon rolls are the perfect breakfast food for anyone with a sweet tooth! It is a sweet roll with icing drizzled on the top of it. In Sweden it is called a kanelbulle. Cinnamon rolls in Denmark are known as kanelsnegl, and in Finland it is called a korvapuusti. This recipe does use a bread starter, so it's not for everyone but if you would like to try it out click here. Appearance- I am so happy with how these turned out! They almost look store-bought. And they weren't even that hard to make! I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars. Taste- Not only did they look great, they tasted great too! They are on the sweeter side though, so if you don't like really sugary food these might not be for you. I would rate the taste 4 of 5 stars. Difficulty- As I said before, these are not that hard to make.   I recently got a sourdough bread starter. In case you don't know how a starter works, you have feed it flour every week so it grows. Once it has grown you can use as much as you want to make bread or other foods that use the starter. If you leave some starter you can feed it again and have unlimited bread! If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- It is hard to get this bread to look perfect but after some practice you get the hang of it. I would rate the appearance 4 of 5 stars.  Taste- This bread tastes pretty good. It tastes especially good with butter. I would rate the taste 4 of 5 stars.  Difficulty- This was not a simple recipe. Because of the kneading, having to feed the starter, and just overall the whole process I would rate the difficulty advanced.           Pudding is such a delicious dessert or snack. Whether it's chocolate, vanilla or any other flavor, no one can say no to it (unless you don't like pudding). Just the thought of pudding layered with bananas and vanilla wafers topped with cool whip is enough to make you want some! This recipe I actually did not find online, I found it in a box of old recipes from who knows when. You can find the picture of the recipe below. Appearance- When you layer the wafers, bananas, and pudding, the pudding seeps within any open spots, therefore when you look at it it does not look like much. I expected to be able to see the layers. I would rate the appearance 3 of 5 stars. Taste- Even though the pudding didn't have the best appearance, it tasted really good!   When I was thinking about what dessert to make for new years, I knew I wanted to make a cake. But what cake….? Then it came to me. A white almond cake! I have made this cake once before, it was SO good! One of the best cakes ever. So why not start the new year off with one of my favorite cakes! This cake does not have actual almonds in it.
