Apple Pie Cupcakes

 Usually on Thanksgiving I make a pumpkin pie, but this year I decided to try something new. I made these cupcakes as well as a caramel apple cheesecake (blog about that coming soon). After eating these I came to the wonderful conclusion that these are one of the best cupcakes I have ever had! If you would like to try this recipe click here. 


Appearance- These cupcakes look like mini apple pies! They remind me of apple fritters because of the brown sugar topping on top. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars. 


Taste- This was very yummy, the cinnamon roll crust tastes good with the apple pie filling, and the whipped cream and caramel really bring it all together. It was more like a mini pie, or an apple fritter than a cupcake. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars!


Difficulty- These were not that difficult to make, and very quick. I would rate the difficulty beginner. 


Overall- Overall I would rate this recipe 5 out of 5 stars!

  Angel food cake is a fluffy sponge cake made with egg whites, flour, and sugar. Unlike other cakes, it doesn’t use butter. The Baker’s Corner angel food cake box comes with 2 packets and all you have to do is add 1 ⅓ cup water. I dont have an angel food cake pan so I used a bundt cake pan. After cutting a slice from the cake. I decorated it with whipped cream, blueberries, and strawberries for Memorial Day.   Chocolate and strawberries are a classic pair. They just go together. This recipe is great for spring and summer because you can go and pick fresh strawberries. The different layers as well as the reds and browns makes the cake look so appetizing. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars!  Taste- This cake is delicious! It's perfectly moist and flavorful. Simple Scones

       Scones are one of my favorites! They are a great breakfast food. I added butterscotch chips into mine and it made them taste very good. I read in the comments on the recipe that you should use a food processor instead of a mixing bowl so I tried that. It really didn’t work for me because my food processor was small. If you would like to try this recipe click here. Appearance- These scones remind me of slices of pizza. They are a tan color and the butterscotch chips add some variety. I would rate the appearance 5 of 5 stars.  Taste- I think these taste really good! They do seem a bit dry and crumbly though. I would rate the taste 5 of 5 stars. Difficulty- I think making the scones in a food processor was supposed to make it easier but for me it didn't.
